Unending Saga Of the Destruction Of LFC

    Torres to Chelsea.

Betting has been stopped. Rumors won't go away. People that usually know are saying it's a good chance. I will never forgive him if he does. LFC fans will boo him to Hell and gone.

    Mascherano Off

Haven't looked to see where. Don't really care. We knew he wanted to leave so it's not a shock.

Pellegrino, Insua, and now possibly Maxi on their way out.

    Carra says Torres will stay.

Honestly? I'm off at Torres for dragging this shit out. He knows if he's staying or going. It's torture to the fans. At least it's torture to me. Seeing Liverpool fall apart is just devastating. I'm sure we will survive it and be back on top, but meanwhile it's gut wrenching, heartbreaking news every day.

No one should be surprised if Masch leaves. He's wanted to go for a while now and any player that doesn't want to be here needs to go asap. Is Maxi leaving about him wanting to go or the club wanting to sell him? I hate when players come on and we (or they) barely give it a chance to work.

If Torres goes to Chelsea, I will never forgive him either. What happened to all of his nice words about the club, the city, and the supporters and him wanting to try to achieve success with the club? Was it all just a bunch of BS, trying to endear himself to the fans but not really meaning a single word of it?

    Some good news....

    Hodgson on Torres future

Roy Hodgson today dismissed speculation surrounding the future of Fernando Torres by revealing the striker has informed Liverpool he cannot wait to return to Melwood next week and play his part in a new Anfield era.

The Spain star is currently enjoying a holiday after the World Cup finals - but he has told Hodgson he is looking forward to helping the Reds' quest for glory in 2010-11.

"As far as I know, he is looking forward to coming back here on Monday," the boss told reporters at a press conference.
"He is enjoying a holiday, which is a well-deserved break as I don't think he's had one for three years.

"He is spending a lot of time with his family and, as far as I know, is keeping a very low profile and not really speaking to anybody.

"But he has told us he is looking forward to Monday, looking forward to getting back to work and looking forward to playing for Liverpool next season.

"That's what I know and I would suggest all other reports are erroneous."

    Mascherano latest

Roy Hodgson has today revealed that Javier Mascherano has expressed a desire to leave Liverpool - but insists the Argentina captain will remain at Anfield until the Reds receive a suitable offer.

"He wants to leave the club," Hodgson told an Anfield press conference.

"He's made that perfectly clear. I think he wanted to leave a year ago and he wants to leave now. But he's contracted to Liverpool Football Club, so whether he leaves or not is our decision. At the moment he's a Liverpool player and I will continue to treat him as such until a day arrives when he no longer is.

"The mere fact that the player is a little bit unhappy with his situation and would prefer to leave doesn't necessarily mean he will leave.

"It disappoints me but it's not unusual. In every football club in the Barclays Premier League - and in the world - there will be players that would prefer to leave their team. Some are allowed to, some aren't.

"So that's the situation. Mascherano is a Liverpool player, he has a two year contract and I expect him to honour that until the day comes when the club decides to accept an offer for his services."
